*NEW* Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette!

The newest addition to the Urban Decay Naked family is here! That's right, UD just released the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette which features 12 BRAND NEW shades! To stay in the neutral colored scheme, this palette has mostly pink/rose-gold, with a few matte taupes and shimmery dark brown shades. Like other UD makeup, these eyeshadows are pigmented and last all day! What sets this palette apart from the first two Naked palettes are the large selection of the pink, mauve and rose-gold shades. Like the Naked 2, this palette comes with a dual-ended eyeshadow brush. Urban Decay also included a test card of their four different eyeshadow primers. The Naked 3 costs $52, which is reasonably priced considering the worldwide demand of this palette!

The eyeshadow primer test card features the Original primer, Sin (shimmery), Eden (matte) and Anti-Againg. To me it seems this sample card can last up to one month.

This is the dual-ended eyeshadow brush that comes in this palette. UD brushes are of great quality!

This brush is slightly different than the one that came with the Naked 2.

I love the packaging! It reminds me of a chocolate bar :-P

My ever growing Naked family!

I used the UD Anti-Aging primer before swatching the eyeshadows so you guys can see the pigmentation!

Top: Strange, Dust, Burnout
Bottom: Limit, Buzz, Trick

These are the first six colors in the palette. I love the selection of the beautiful pink shades!

Top: Nooner, Liar, Factory
Bottom: Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart

These are the last six colors in the palette and they're definitely darker which makes them perfect for smoking out the look!

I created this look by applying Buzz all over my lid, Nooner in my crease, Strange on my browbone and Blackheart on the outter corner. I'm also wearing Ardell lashes in 105 topped with MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara.

So what do you think of this palette? Will you be adding it to your makeup collection?

Available at Sephora, Ulta, UrbanDecay.com, Macy's and wherever UD cosmetics are sold.

Fall Makeup Look!

Hey guys! If you follow me on Instagram then you might have seen my Fall makeup look that I posted a few days ago! I was so into pinks and corals during the summer so I definitely wanted to bust out more of bronzy and vampy colors to create a wearable fall look! My face contouring was totally inspired by Samer Khouzami - celeb makeup artist in Lebanon (@samerkhouzami on Instagram)! I also got to play around with the new Urban Decay Vice 2 palette..which I blogged about in the last post! I actually created a product set so you guys can see exactly what I used!

Ok let's start with the face. As you can see I did some heavy contouring! I know it seems like too much but look how my skin looks! No I did not airbrush these photos...I don't even know how! Going heavy on the foundation/concealer definitely gave me great coverage! So I used the Benefit Erase Paste in all the areas I wanted highlighted. I love this concealer because it's heavy like foundation but gives me amazing coverage and doesn't move! For the darker shade, I used my Grafobian HD cream foundation palette and used a shade that's about 4-5 shades darker than my skin tone. I used the darker shade to chisel my face! Of course I blended everything out with the Beauty Blender! Afterwards I used the Benefit Hoola bronzer to go over the contouring to make it more intense. I finished off my cheeks by applying the new MAC Skinfinish in Scene to be Seen. This blush is such a beautiful pink/plum color and it's part of the new holiday collection!

For my eyes I busted out the new Urban Decay Vice 2 palette! I used the beautiful shimmery bronze shade called Stash all over my lid, matte brown Rewind in my crease, shimmery charcoal Smokeout in my crease and outter corner, peachy shimmery Dope on my browbone and gold shimmery Strike in my tear duct. I lined my lids with Maybelline's gel pot liner and of course loaded up on Benefit's They're Real! mascara!

And now to my favorite part...the lips! I think what really completed this look are the dark lips! I lined my lips with MAC's liner in Nightmoth and filled in using MAC's lipstick in Rebel! I'm loving this color combo for this season! It's totally towards the vampy side yet it's more wearable!

Lastly, I slightly filled in my eyesbrows using the new Benefit Gimme Brow gel which I am loooooving at the moment! I will sit down and do a detailed review of this product later this week because trust me, it deserves it's own post!

So what do you guys think? What are your favorite Fall beauty trends?

Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette Swatches!

Another limited edition collectors item from Urban Decay is here! The Vice 2 palette is a must have for makeup junkies and UD fanatics! This palette comes with 20 ALL NEW beautifully pigmented shadows ranging from a few neutrals to mostly edgy and smokey shades. Also included is a full size double-ended Good Karma shadow and crease brush, which we have seen in other UD palettes and trust me, this brush is very nice to have! I've been playing around with these shadows a bit and of course I took pictures! Check out the up-close shots and swatches!

The crystal logo on the front is the same as the one on the original Vice palette from last year!

Top row from left to right: Smokeout, Lovesick, Shellshock, Coax, X-Rated

Second row left to right: Prank, Madness, Strike, Stash, Poison

Third row left to right: Radar, Damaged, Voodoo, Betrayal, Derailed

Last row left to right: Dope, Toxic, Habit, Ambush, Rewind

The Vice family!

Both palettes in comparison.

I think the Vice 2 palette is very fun and edgy! Of course the bolder colors can be balanced out with some of the neutral shades like Rewind, Radar and Strike. For $59 I think this is a great deal since it comes with 20 new shades in UD's revamped formula along with a double-ended eyeshadow brush and a large mirror. Plus this palette is limited edition so once it's gone, it's gone! Whenever UD sells out of limited edition makeup, it's really difficult to get unless you splurge on Ebay. I also want to mention that the quality of these shadows is very nice, just like all other UD shadows. The few that I had to press my brush down heavily in order to pick up the colors were Strike and X-Rated. Other than those two, all the other shades were very easy to work with and went on very smoothly! I highly recommend getting your hands on this now while you can. This is a hot seller right now especially with the holidays approaching!

Latest Voluminous Mascara from L'Oreal

The newest addition to L'Oreal's Voluminous family is the the Lash Out Butterfly mascara. This new mascara is designed to extend lashes for a flirty and fluttery effect. The lighter formula helps lengthen and volumize while the winged tip brush helps extend the outter most part for bold, fluttering lashes. Since some of the other mascaras in the Voluminous family are a few of my favorite ones, I was quick to pick this new one up to give it a try!

What makes this mascara different from the rest is the asymmetrical shape of the brush that's designed to catch every single lash. The mascara comes in Black, Black Brown, and Blackest Black, and is not yet available in waterproof. I personally like it and I feel it delivers, however I prefer thicker lashes as opposed to separated, thin ones on myself. I can't say this is my favorite but I do appreciate the fact that it does it exactly what the package says, which is to give you fluttery lashes! So what do you think? Will you try it?

This mascara cost around $7.99 and is available at drugstores.
